1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CareerPointers (“the Service”), operated by Future Me, Answered LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CareerPointers is an AI-assisted career platform: an 11-module professional journey, a portfolio and Magic Link delivery system, practice tools including the Hot Seat interview simulator, and navigation tools including the Compass. The Service is intended for personal, professional, and informational use.

3. Not Professional Advice

We strongly encourage you to use your own judgment, and to consult qualified career counselors, financial advisors, or other professionals before making significant career decisions.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and are able to enter a binding agreement.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information when registering
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
• Submit false or misleading content in a Magic Link you share with an employer
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use the Service to harass, deceive, or harm others

7. Pricing, Payment, Cancellation & Refunds

Current plans and pricing are published on our Pricing page. The Free tier requires no payment method and does not expire. Paid plans bill on a recurring basis at the rate shown when you subscribe; that rate is locked for as long as you stay subscribed. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card number or CVV.

You may cancel a paid plan at any time from Settings → Billing, through Stripe’s customer portal. Canceling does not delete your account or your existing Magic Links, and your work stays yours.

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your first charge on a paid plan, no reason required, by emailing support@futuremeanswered.com. Refunds are not available after that window.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI models to generate personalized content including coaching guidance, resume and portfolio suggestions, and interview practice feedback. This content:

• May contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors
• Reflects patterns in training data and may not apply to your specific situation
• Should be independently verified before being relied upon for major decisions

9. Your Content & Our Intellectual Property

You own the resume, Story Bank, portfolio, and journey content you create. You grant us a license to use that content to provide and improve the Service, and to display it to whoever you choose to share a Magic Link with. The Service itself, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Future Me, Answered LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Future Me, Answered LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including damages related to career decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
